As touring performers who also have day jobs, we’ve come to depend heavily on our website for marketing and keeping in touch with our fans. We’re extremely happy with our website, and we get wonderful compliments all the time. (We’re even selling some of our CDs on the web!)
Jeff Cohan has been Cowboy Envy’s web guy since day one, and we’re very appreciative of everything he has done and continues to do to keep our site current and lively.
Even though Frenchy (Berné), Too Short (DeDe) and I have been touring as Cowboy Envy since 1994, it took us a while to venture into cyberspace. After a whole slew of web designers had us thoroughly confused, we were lucky to find Jeff. He explained all the ins and outs to us so everything was easy to understand.
Perhaps because Jeff is an amateur musician himself (you know, karmic bonding and all…), he’s in tune with what it’s like to be a musician, and he was able to design our site artistically and in a way that conveys the Cowboy Envy “attitude.” Why, he’s even ghost-written some of our copy to sound like it came out of our own mouths!
Maybe the most important thing to say is that I’ve always found Jeff very easy to work with. As you might imagine, harmony is very important to Cowboy Envy. (Can I brag that we’ve earned numerous awards for our vocal harmonies?) Our working relationship with Jeff has been wonderfully harmonious. Jeff is incredibly patient, and is always considerate of our situation as he constantly thinks about creative ways to accommodate our needs and make our website more productive. Our trip down the techno trail with Jeff is going just fine.
Sincerely,
Buffalo K
