Libra: Division of Labor

Last updated November 11th, 2012 at 10:43 am

Libra, the name of the seventh constellation of the Zodiac, translates to “The Scales” and connotes “Balance” We think this fits. Our Libra Program is a balance of forces: You, nSiteful, and the WordPress CMS. And it strikes a balance between high quality and low cost.

This breakdown is a general description of the division of labor. You should be able to do the stuff in the “Your stuff” column after receiving proper training. nSiteful is willing and able to do anything in the “Your stuff” column — but you keep costs down the more you do.

One of our first bits of housekeeping on a Libra project is clarifying the division of labor.

My stuff (plus I can do any of your stuff, if necessary):

  • Install and configure WordPress
  • Customize the theme (look & feel)
  • Flesh out the initial site structure
  • Produce interface graphics (masthead images, widgets, etc.)
  • Install appropriate plugins
  • Do custom programming to achieve results beyond the scope of WordPress and its plugins
  • Train you in the use of the WordPress CMS

Your stuff (the more you do, the more bang for you bucks):

  • Add and edit page and blog content
  • Insert images and hyperlinks into content
  • Create and maintain photo galleries
