Options for Structuring Memberships Using MemberPress
This is a short overview of the options for creating memberships using MemberPress.
I tell clients that when it comes to creating a membership site, the hardest part isn’t the technical stuff; the hardest part is strategizing how to organize your content and how to structure your memberships accordingly.

Use Cases
Use Case for Limiting Payment Cycles, Followed by Lifetime Access
Example:
Recurring monthly membership for the Follow Through Master Program for $15/month, limited to 24 payment cycles.
After the 24 payment cycles, the member has lifetime access.
Advantages of Limiting Payment Cycles, Followed by Lifetime Access:
There’s an incentive for the member to maintain an uninterrupted membership so as to then have a “free” membership forever.
Disadvantages of Limiting Payment Cycles, Followed by Lifetime Access:
This arrangement eliminates the sense of urgency to experience the courses and work on intentions. Even though the member will be paying $360 over the course of 24 months, he/she could justify/rationalize not working in earnest on the basis that the tools will always be available.
