Your social content marketing — whether you're blogging, tweeting, or Facebooking — should always have the goal of being as
vivid as possible.
And yes: sharing information about events that aren't open to the public is fair game. It helps your prospects imagine being your customers.
Consider these tweet possibilities for a catering business:
- Headed downtown to cater a party.
- Headed to Buckhead to cater a party.
- Headed to Buckhead to cater a Bat Mitzvah party.
- Headed to Buckhead with our portable woodfired pizza oven to cater a Bat Mitzvah party for 200 guests.
If one of those versions causes one Twitter follower/prospect to say to herself, "Now
there's an idea...", you did good.
